Carbon Reduction Plan

Carbon Reduction Plan

Rossco is committed to reducing its environmental impact and contributing to a sustainable future. This Carbon Reduction Plan outlines our approach, targets, and progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions across our operations. It demonstrates our commitment to transparency, accountability, and alignment with recognised carbon reporting standards.

Our Commitment

We acknowledge the importance of tackling climate change and recognise our responsibility to minimise the carbon footprint of our business operations. Our goal is to implement practical, measurable initiatives that reduce emissions, improve efficiency, and promote sustainable practices throughout our organisation.

Current Carbon Footprint

As part of this plan, we have conducted a thorough assessment of our carbon emissions across key areas, including energy use, travel, procurement, and waste management. This baseline allows us to identify priority areas for action and to measure progress over time.

Reduction Targets

Our carbon reduction objectives include:

  • Short-term (1–3 years): Reduce emissions by through energy efficiency upgrades and adoption of renewable energy.

  • Medium-term (3–5 years): Reduce business travel-related emissions through virtual meetings, efficient logistics, and sustainable travel policies.

  • Long-term (5–10 years): Achieve a significant reduction in overall carbon footprint and develop a roadmap toward net-zero emissions.

Action Plan

To achieve these targets, we are implementing the following initiatives:

  1. Energy Efficiency: Upgrading lighting, heating, and cooling systems to more efficient technologies.

  2. Renewable Energy: Increasing the proportion of electricity sourced from renewable energy providers.

  3. Sustainable Travel: Encouraging low-carbon commuting options, promoting virtual meetings, and optimising travel planning.

  4. Procurement and Waste Management: Partnering with suppliers committed to sustainability and reducing waste through recycling and circular economy practices.

  5. Employee Engagement: Training and involving staff in sustainability initiatives to create a culture of environmental responsibility.

Monitoring and Reporting

Progress will be monitored annually, with emissions tracked against our baseline to ensure transparency and accountability. Any deviations from targets will be addressed through corrective actions, and updates will be shared publicly to maintain stakeholder confidence.
